Throughout this series, you will learn different ways to utilize herbs, tinctures, salves, and more to help with the more common ailments that you may face.
As history has shown us, herbs have been used to treat ailments of all kinds. Even modern medicine is based on or utilizes the medicinal properties of these herbs in modified forms to treat sickness and injuries alike.
List of Items we will be using over this Herbal Medicine Series:
- Mason Jars: Quart or Pint. Any jars with a good lid will suffice
- 2 oz. bottle with dropper
- Your own choice as far as how you want to label it
- Strainer or Cheesecloth
- Various Herbs
- Alcohol or Glycerin
- Oils of your choice Ex: Almond Oil, Apricot Oil
- Olive Oil
- Clays
- Beeswax
- Shea Butter
- Empty Capsules
- Honey
- Vinegar
- Re-fillable Tea bags
Where can I source these items:
Any of these items can be sourced from local apothecary stores, Whole Foods, and online aromatherapy sites, and the best place would be your very own homestead.
