4 Ingredient Irish Soda Bread

I love this quick and easy homemade Irish soda bread recipe. It takes almost no time at all for some homemade bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix your flour, salt and baking soda.
  • Make a small hole in the center of the bowl and pour in your buttermilk.
  • Mix the ingredients until the dough forms. Do not overmix o it will become tough.
  • Place the dough onto your prepared baking pan with the parchment paper.
  • Use a sharp knife to score a deep x on top of the bread.
  • Bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Tap the bottom of the bread and listen for the hollow sound.
  • Allow the bread to cool on a cooling rack before serving.
